Hi, my name is Rachel. I am a mother of two, a beautiful 4 year old girl and a very active 10 month old baby boy. I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful and supportive husband who really is my best friend. We have been married for over 5 years and since we had children right away, life really took on a ‘chaotic’ atmosphere from the get go.
Feeding my family was no exception. When it came to meal time, our home turned into a zoo. I never dreamed I would have to be so creative with my children’s food when it came to eating nutritious. To make things even more complicated, my four year old girl got so picky after the age of 2, that I began to make her separate meals. (I am aware that some people may not agree with this, however, because of my health obsession I have been willing to make the sacrifice). I knew I could sleep peacefully at night knowing my children got their vitamins.
Why Healthy Little Hearts?
Talking about, reading about and researching healthy alternatives is a love of mine. I believe I realized health was one of my passions when people noticed I talked about it a lot, especially when it came to healthy eating choices. I seemed to talk about things that most people had no idea about or had just never thought of before. I started to see that I had a good chunk of knowledge to share that could provide value to families on the go.
I will be updating my site almost daily with new and exciting information. My goal is to reach out to as many parents as possible and provide some quick and simple solutions to everyday issues around children and health.
